Meet Vlad, a legendary chef who began at a very young age in Portugal

He studied and honed his craft in the UK, US and Singapore under the mentorship of an elite company. Vlad is technically perfect, as his passion and intuition are the drivers behind his creative genius.

For Vlad, family comes first, followed by his passion for his vintage looking BBQ, affectionately known as BGE (Big Green Egg). We’ve heard of fabulous unforgettable meals that came from this BBQ set. Get to know him well enough and you might be lucky enough for an invite to the next cook-up!

One Interesting fact about you:

Worked at the 3 star Les Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons, in Oxford, and was a co-founder of the cooking school at the Awared winning Daylesford Organic farm near Kingham Gloucestershire.

Favorite dish:

Anything from the Sea. It’s is very nostalgic, brings back memories of my roots and upbringing by the coast.

Favorite music playlist:

I like the old classics (Pink Floyd, Cold Play, etc…), but I’m now enjoying Billy Eilish thanks to my 12 year old daughter.

When I’m not in the kitchen…

I’m with my “Big Green Egg” BBQ and Smoker (Picture on the left) . The magic is in ingredient selection and mingling with merchants at the local farmers markets. I’m also spending time with family and friends.

Your morning routine:

My morning coffee with my Italian made Lamarazoco GS3 hand made coffee machine. It’s a limited edition machine, it’s got a double boiler and 8 bars pressure…..extracting oils of the coffee beans for fragrance and aromas.

Stress relievers:

Going to the beach and if I’m completely stressed out, I take a day trip.
