Overnight Carrot Cake Oats Recipe

Overnight Carrot Cake Oats Prep Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 2

METHOD To Prepare Overnight Carrot Cake Oats:

  • Peel and grate the carrots and place them in a pan with 150g of water
  • Bring carrots to boil, then turn down to simmer for 5 minutes
  • Remove from the heat. Drain excess water from carrots and set aside to drain-off
  • Add in the oats, Almond Milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, powder, Maple Syrup, and sea salt
  • With a spoon mix ingredient
  • Leave for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • place into a cup or little Jars container
  • Garnish and serve

Ingredients:

  • Carrots – 2 (medium Sized)
  • Old fashioned Rolled Oats – 2/3 Cup
  • Non-Dairy Milk (We like to use Almond milk) – 3/5 cup
  • Maple Syrup – 1tbsp
  • Cinnamon – ½ tsp
  • Nutmeg – 1 large pinch
  • Ginger powder – ½ tsp
  • Sea Salt – 1 small pinch
  • Chia Seeds – ½ tsp
  • Water – 30 ml
  • Caramelized Carrot Garnish
